About us

With our core business being staff hire, mobilizing our field staff at any moment meant we needed a sound transport infrastructure enabling us to dispatch and collect staff from their places of work when the need arose 24hrs a day.

When our clients started approaching us for a similar service, a new business prospect was identified and in 2003 New Era Transport was established as a separate business entity that also enhanced our staff hire service offering.

New Era Transport has since evolved to become one of the leading passenger transport companies in the Western Cape boasting a host of corporate and state-owned entities as clients.

New Era Transport is also a proud level 1 BEE company rated by a Sanas-approved verification agency.

We ensure that our drivers constantly exceed the expectations of our clients by delivering valued and dedicated services.

OUR PERSONNEL

•Our drivers/chauffeurs are meticulously screened and selected based on pre-employment checks, criminal clearances, comprehensive medicals and psychometric testing

All our vehicles are fitted with Covid-19 protective screens separating drivers from passengers as well as hand-sanitizer units as additional measures to combat Covid-19
All our vehicles also have the Covid-19 awareness notices clearly displayed

We have also partnered with an outsourced vehicle recovery company for assistance in the unlikely event of vehicle hi-jackings
